Defect, Risk & Configuration Manager

Talentmark are recruiting for a Defect, Risk & Configuration Manager to join a company in the medical devices industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is fully site-based in Motherwell. Salary: £21.97 - £24.52 per hour PAYE In this role, you will own the defect management lifecycle, lead technical product risk assessments, and maintain strict configuration baselines in SAP across multidisciplinary engineering projects. Responsibilities:

Build and maintain Defect Trackers, templates, and software configurations in RETINA .<br />Collaborate with Test Managers and Product Care to track defect resolution, re-testing, and closure.<br />Define defect KPIs, build dashboards, and write the Defect Management Plan and Summary Reports.<br />Maintain Configuration Management Plans, reports, and instrument logbooks.<br />Apply risk management processes to identify technical product risks (probability/severity). Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.<br />Minimum of 2 years in Defect Management, Technical Risk Management, or Systems Engineering.<br />Experience with RETINA (or similar ALM/tracking tool) is a strong plus.<br />Working knowledge of SAP for configuration management.
