Job Description

Erzieher oder Heilerziehungspfleger (m/w/d) | Prien am Chiemsee, Germany | On-site

We are seeking dedicated and qualified professionals for our child and adolescent department at a leading German psychosomatic and internationally recognized clinical facility. Join a team committed to providing exceptional therapeutic care and contributing to the well-being of young patients.

The Role

  • Organize and structure the daily clinical routine to ensure a smooth process for patients and the team.
  • Conduct co-therapeutic discussions, building upon topics from individual or group therapies.
  • Provide first-line intervention and support in acute situations.
  • Lead therapy groups focusing on relaxation techniques, mindfulness, social skills, or skill-building.
  • Support patients during meals in the context of eating disorder therapy.
  • Participate in a structured shift system to ensure continuous patient care.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training as an Erzieher (Educator) or Heilerziehungspfleger (Special Needs Caregiver).
  • Ideally, experience in psychosomatics/psychiatry or residential care for individuals.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and enthusiasm for the role.
  • A respectful, professional, and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
  • A curiosity for new topics and a commitment to professional development.
