Quick overview
Job description
Role Summary
Domain: High School Math & Quant
Learning Experience Designers own the learning journey for our students. They systematically apply the best of learning science to create outstanding learning experiences for our students. This role will partner with curriculum leads, teachers, product, and engineering to create learner-centred course designs, multimedia learning assets, assessments, and facilitator guides that support measurable student outcomes.
This role is remote-first and works across time zones to align with our delivery cadence. If you are already based in Riyadh, you are equally welcome to apply and can work from our Riyadh office, full-time or part of the week, whichever suits you.
What You'll Do
Design end-to-end learning experiences including scope & sequence, unit plans, lesson plans, assessments, and formative checks aligned to Noon learning outcomes.
Develop assessment strategies and rubrics that measure mastery and inform iterative improvements to content and instruction.
Work closely with product and engineering to translate pedagogical designs into scalable digital experiences and to QA learning flows in the platform.
Ensure learning resources are localised for language and other contextual factors.
Run rapid prototyping and user testing with students and teachers to validate design decisions and improve engagement and learning gains.
Train and support teachers and facilitators on new materials, pedagogical approaches, and use of EdTech tools to enable high-fidelity implementation.
Use data and qualitative feedback to iterate on curriculum and content, driving continuous improvement cycles.
Must-Have Requirements
A strong academic record. A degree in Mathematics or a quantitative field (Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics) is preferred. A degree in Education or another field works too if your mathematics is evidently strong.
Experience designing learning materials, or teaching, at any level. You do not need years of it. We are hiring for potential: people with the mathematics, the judgement and the curiosity to become excellent learning designers with us.
Passion for Math and helping students learn to love Math.
Familiarity with a rigorous curriculum (American, British, IB or a strong national curriculum) and with standardised mathematics assessments such as the SAT or GAT/Qudrat.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English; able to produce clear learner-facing content and teacher-facing documentation.
Equally comfortable working on-site and remotely, and able to collaborate with remote teams across time zones (GMT +3 overlap preferred).
Highly Advantageous
Experience in delivering the American Curriculum at international schools.
Arabic language ability or experience working in the Middle East educational context.
Experience with adaptive learning systems or analytics-driven personalisation at scale.
Prior teaching experience in hybrid or online classrooms.
AI is already part of how you design. You have a strong understanding of how it works and you use it daily in your own practice.
What We're Really Looking For
A passionate designer who balances rigour and creativity to build learning experiences that are delightful for learners.
A collaborative partner who can work closely with teachers, engineers and product teams to bring ideas into production.
A lifelong learner who can learn new skills and consistently raise the bar.
Other details
Remote-first with flexibility. Occasional meetings aligned to GMT +3 are required, which is a natural fit if you are already in Riyadh. Riyadh-based candidates may work remotely, from the office, or a mix.
