Job Description

We are looking for Functional Analyst - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Baltimore MD.

Job Title: Functional Analyst - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Baltimore MD

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $41.90hr - $46.90hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor s degree, an additional 4+ years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience as a Functional Analyst or 6+ years of experience in a level 2 or above operational role.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and similar applications.
  • Ability to create graphics and report to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates necessary leadership attributes to lead projects while keeping operational leadership informed.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimizes operations results by identifying and analyzing business requirements and operations.
  • Conducts performance studies and identifies key business metrics.
  • Develops and calibrates analytical models and recommends process improvement priorities.
  • Identifies low-cost designs, materials, processes, and sources while evaluating new technologies.
  • Leads and mentors lower-level Analysts.
  • Assesses adequacy of current processing operations by interviewing and conferring with operations personnel.
  • Determines processing performance measures and conducts benchmarking initiatives.
  • Contributes to processing and organization success by welcoming new requests and helping others accomplish job results.
  • Identifies opportunities for processing operational improvements by preparing cost/benefit analyses and developing business cases.
  • Supports process improvement programs by providing continuing measurements, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Maintains processing operations guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
  • Prepares processing operations analysis information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
