Cybersecurity Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce's client in Houston, TX is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead enterprise security initiatives, manage project portfolios, and provide financial oversight across cybersecurity programs. This role partners with security, infrastructure, network, application, and business teams to drive project execution, manage budgets, and deliver strategic security outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple cybersecurity projects through planning, execution, and delivery
• Manage project schedules, scope, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resources
• Provide portfolio-level visibility and executive reporting across security initiatives
• Track project financials including budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance analysis
• Analyze data and develop actionable insights using Power BI, Excel, and financial reporting tools
• Coordinate activities across technical and business stakeholders
• Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Facilitate governance meetings, status updates, and leadership communications
• Manage vendors and support compliance with security and risk management objectives

REQUIREMENTS

• PMP, Agile, or cybersecurity certifications preferred
• 5+ years of project management experience supporting technology initiatives
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting experience
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, analyze large data sets, and translate findings into business insights

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
