SAP Functional/Technical SME (MM/P2P)

Location: San Antonio, Texas (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior SAP functional resource to support Supply Chain/Source-to-Receipt initiatives. This individual will partner with business stakeholders, Global Process Owners, and IT teams to drive process improvements, solution design, and execution across procurement, inventory, and warehousing. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP functional expertise with strong business process knowledge and the ability to operate independently within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP functional initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
  • Support and enhance Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Support Inventory Management and Warehouse Management capabilities.
  • Drive process improvement and standardization efforts.
  • Participate in solution design, testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
  • Work closely with technical teams, architects, and business process owners.
  • Support SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and leadership on supply chain-related enhancements and projects.
Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a functional consultant or architect, not a technical architect, with the following qualifications:

Experience:
  • Proven experience with SAP MM (Procurement and Materials Management).
  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Management.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain business processes.
  • Experience in both SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
  • Functional design and solution architecture experience.
  • Experience working directly with business partners and process owners.


Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
  • Capable of translating business requirements into practical SAP solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
