Classified Systems Support Engineer

GovCIO LLC seeks a Site Classified Support Engineer to support secure federal environments. In this role, you'll maintain and troubleshoot on-site classified systems, networks, and endpoints, ensuring high availability, compliance, and cybersecurity. You'll deploy updates, apply STIGs, manage user support tickets, and coordinate with engineering and security teams to resolve complex issues. Working in a mission-driven, collaborative culture, you'll leverage modern tools to support critical national programs while growing your skills through training, mentorship, and exposure to large-scale government IT modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for classified IT systems, networks, and endpoints in secure facilities.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers and network devices to ensure uptime.
• Apply security configurations, patches, and STIGs to meet federal cybersecurity and compliance standards.
• Respond to and resolve user tickets, incidents, and service requests within SLAs.
• Deploy software, updates, and configuration changes using standard ITSM and change management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and program teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions for knowledge sharing and audits.
• Support integration of new technologies and modernization efforts within classified environments.
