Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure software services for customer-facing platforms
• Collaborate with product, UX, and operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices in a cloud environment
• Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and observability in production
• Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing best practices and guiding technical decisions
• Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical roadmaps
• Align solutions with Starbucks' values around customer experience, sustainability, and data security
