Job Description

Assurasource is a mental health services provider focused on making therapy and counseling more accessible through compassionate, evidence-based care. We support clients with thoughtful, high-quality behavioral health services designed to meet them where they are and help them make meaningful progress.

As a Psychologist, you will play an important role in delivering client-centered care across the full course of treatment, from initial assessment through ongoing therapeutic support. This role is well suited to a clinician who values measurable outcomes, strong documentation practices, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a high standard of professional and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual diagnostic intake assessments and deliver ongoing evidence-based individual psychotherapy via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
  • Formulate, monitor, and update individualized, measurable treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Maintain timely electronic clinical documentation, including intakes, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in accordance with regulatory and payer compliance requirements.
  • Perform clinical risk assessments, crisis intervention, and safety planning when clinically indicated.
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers, medical specialists, and referring partners to support integrated client care.
  • Practice in strict adherence to applicable behavioral health regulations, professional board standards, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA- or regionally accredited program.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted Psychologist license issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, or active Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology under PSYPACT for clients residing in Texas.
  • Experience conducting diagnostic intakes and delivering evidence-based treatment in an outpatient telehealth setting.
  • Experience using CBT, ACT, interpersonal therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Knowledge of Texas BHEC/TSBEP rules.
  • Active individual NPI and an accessible CAQH profile, or readiness to update and attest immediately upon offer.
