Job Description

Commercial Gas Engineer

Location: Leicester / Midlands
Salary: Up to £47,000 + Van + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established Facilities Management provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across Leicester and the surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a secure, long-term position offering a competitive salary, company vehicle and strong benefits package.

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial properties.

Your duties will include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance and breakdowns
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Servicing and repairs of commercial boilers
  • Maintenance of gas-fired equipment and associated plant
  • Working on AHUs, pumps, valves and heating systems
  • Completing compliance and safety checks
  • Updating job information and completing relevant documentation
  • Liaising with site teams and clients to ensure works are completed efficiently
What We're Looking For
  • Commercial Gas qualifications CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within commercial buildings or Facilities Management
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Experience working on HVAC or wider mechanical building services would be highly beneficial.
