Job Description

Vantor seeks a Platform Engineer to build and operate scalable OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms for modern web and data driven applications. You'll design, automate, and support containerized environments using infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and cloud services. The role involves performance tuning, observability, security hardening, and guiding teams on cloud native best practices. Working in an agile, low ego culture, you'll collaborate closely with engineers and clients to modernize systems and deliver resilient, scalable digital solutions while expanding your skills across cloud, automation, and DevOps engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and operate scalable Open
  • Shift and Kubernetes platforms for client applications.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code to standardize and automate environment provisioning.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized workloads for performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and client teams to define platform requirements and best practices.
  • Harden cluster security, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Manage cluster upgrades, patching, and capacity planning across multiple environments (dev, test, prod).
  • Build and maintain observability stacks, including logging, metrics, and alerting for platform services.
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing materials for internal teams.
  • Support migration of legacy applications to container-based and cloud-native architectures.
  • Continuously evaluate new tooling and approaches to improve platform efficiency and developer experience.
