Onsite Required: Due to the essential nature of the work to be performed, this position REQUIRES the selected candidate to work ONSITE for the duration of the assignment. Candidates will not be permitted to work remotely.

Job Description

Need to read design documents and write test cases in Jira. Good knowledge of Jira and test case writing skills are needed

Key Responsibilities

• Test Case Authoring: Design, write, and maintain comprehensive, clear, and reusable test cases, scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements, system specifications, and integration flows.
• Interface & Integration Testing: Author detailed test cases covering end-to-end interface testing, API integrations, data exchanges, and communication channels between system components.
• Kofax Testing: Design specialized test scenarios for Kofax capture, transformation, and document processing solutions, ensuring seamless data extraction, validation, and workflow routing.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand feature requirements and identify edge cases early in the development lifecycle.
• Test Management: Organize, structure, and maintain all testing documentation and traceability matrices using XRAY and Jira.
• Minimal Execution: Perform exploratory or targeted validation only when strictly necessary, focusing the vast majority of your effort on robust test strategy and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 4 to 6 years of software quality assurance experience in an Agile environment.
• Technical Stack Knowledge: Solid understanding of testing web applications built on Angular (frontend) and Java (backend/microservices architectures).
• Specialized Testing Expertise:
• Demonstrated experience in designing test cases for Interface Testing (APIs, web services, system-to-system integrations).
• Hands-on test design experience with Kofax capture and document automation solutions.
• Tool Expertise:
• Extensive experience with Jira for tracking and requirement alignment.
• Proficiency in XRAY for test case management, execution mapping, and requirements traceability.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to review technical specifications, API payloads, and component interactions to craft precise, high-value test cases.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex test scenarios clearly to developers and stakeholders.
