Job Description

We are seeking a Test Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end test management, QA methodologies, and test automation and a proven ability to lead cross-platform testing programs from initiation through implementation with measurable quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end test management for large cross-platform projects, including scope, strategy, planning, execution, and closure.


• Develop and maintain test approaches, test plans, milestones, entry/exit criteria, and risk mitigation plans.


• Coordinate with product, engineering, architecture, and operations stakeholders to align schedules, environments, and deliverables.


• Define test data strategies and oversee test environment readiness across customer journeys.


• Establish and track QA metrics including defect trends, test coverage, execution progress, and quality gates.


• Guide the selection and adoption of automation tools and frameworks; promote reusable assets and continuous testing practices.


• Drive integration of quality principles into design and development processes to prevent defects.


• Prepare concise status reports and dashboards in Rally, JIRA, ALM, and related tooling for leadership visibility.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software testing experience, including 3+ years as an end-to-end Test Manager on large cross-platform initiatives.


• Strong QA background with solid knowledge of SDLC and QA processes from initiation to implementation.


• Credit card domain experience. American Express experience is preferred, ideally within US Consumer and Digital.


• Hands-on expertise developing and executing test approaches and plans with milestones, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.


• Subject matter expertise in testing and QA processes, including test strategy, test data, and test environment planning.


• Experience integrating quality principles into software design and development processes for teams.


• 5+ years monitoring and analyzing testing quality metrics such as defects, test results, and test status.


• Proficiency with automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, UFT, and Tosca, including tool selection and implementation.


• Experience with test data setup and orchestration across end-to-end customer journeys.


• Hands-on API testing and debugging using POSTMAN, SOAP UI, REST Assured, or similar tools.


• Familiarity with GenAI tools for process automation or efficiency improvements.


• Experience with Agile testing and reporting tools including Rally, JIRA, ALM, SharePoint, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills:

• Quality Assurance certifications such as CTFL, CSTE, PMP, or equivalent.


• Experience in American Express environments, particularly US Consumer and Digital.
