Maths Teacher Required for Secondary School in Wandsworth

Are you a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a thriving South London school?

A highly reputable secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a talented Maths Teacher to join their successful department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students of all abilities across KS3, 4 and 5.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters a love of mathematics.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to share best practice and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Remain up-to-date with current pedagogical approaches and advancements in mathematics education.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hold a relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of successful Maths teaching at the secondary level.
  • Exhibit strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to cater for diverse learning needs.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
