Senior Process Automation Engineer | Saint Paul, MN, United States | Hybrid We're hiring for a globally recognised leader in engineering solutions, serving diverse industries with a legacy of innovation and a commitment to employee growth. The Role • Lead the design, development, testing, and commissioning of industrial process automation systems. • Provide technical expertise and serve as a lead on assigned automation projects for service upgrades. • Support sales efforts by providing pre-sales technical assistance, cost estimation, and proposal development. • Develop detailed process functional descriptions and design automation software across various industrial platforms. • Collaborate with electrical designers and procurement on system design, equipment, and vendor selection. • Commission instrumentation, electrical, and control systems at customer sites, including I/O checkout and troubleshooting. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. • Typically, 5+ years of experience in a similar automation engineering role. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industrial control platforms; experience with Rockwell Automation preferred. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. • Ability to travel up to 25% as required. • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of working independently and in team settings.
