The Role

• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project workflows and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather and organize technical information.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
• Maintain version control and manage documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (experience may be substituted).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information clearly.
• Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying documentation gaps.
• Active Top Secret clearance is required; ability to obtain SCI clearance.
