About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Application Support Analyst to join a cross-functional Agile team supporting enterprise applications and business-critical systems. In this role, you will collaborate with development, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure application stability, facilitate Agile delivery processes, support testing efforts, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Scrum environment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Application Support & Issue Resolution

• Monitor application performance and proactively identify issues.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related incidents in collaboration with offshore development and QA teams.
• Escalate and track complex issues through resolution while ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.

Agile Delivery Support

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and backlog refinement meetings.
• Support sprint execution by coordinating activities and tracking deliverables across teams.
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and business partners to clarify requirements and priorities.

JIRA Administration & Tracking

• Create, manage, and maintain user stories, tasks, defects, and enhancements within JIRA.
• Track progress, monitor sprint metrics, and ensure accurate documentation of project activities.
• Facilitate effective backlog management and sprint planning activities.

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios.
• Validate application enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature implementations.
• Document defects and partner with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Stakeholder Communication & Demonstrations

• Prepare and deliver application demonstrations for business stakeholders.
• Present new features, enhancements, and system updates in a clear and engaging manner.
• Gather feedback and communicate business requirements to technical teams.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Create and maintain support documentation, test cases, user guides, and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes, workflows, and application functionality.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications
Technical Skills

• Experience using JIRA for Agile project tracking, issue management, and sprint planning.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking and test execution processes.

Agile Experience

• Experience working within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with Agile principles, sprint lifecycle management, and collaborative development practices.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Ability to design, document, and execute test cases.
• Experience supporting functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.

Communication Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present technical concepts and product demonstrations to business stakeholders.

Problem Solving

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and manage issues through completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes or platforms.
• 2-4 years of experience supporting Agile delivery teams and Scrum-based projects.
• Familiarity with enterprise application support and business process improvement initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with distributed or offshore teams.
