Job Description

NDT Level III | Scio, OR, United States | Hybrid

We're hiring for a globally recognized supplier of titanium castings and components, poised for significant growth in the aerospace industry. This company fosters a culture of advancement and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role

  • Administer and maintain the NDT/X-Ray qualification program for NDT personnel at all levels.
  • Oversee and maintain qualification records, certifications, and proficiency examinations.
  • Conduct non-destructive inspections per NAS410, customer specifications, and blueprints, including visual, liquid penetrant, and x-ray methods.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to NDT inspectors, ensuring quality assurance and safety procedures are met.
  • Evaluate and interpret casting quality to meet company and customer specifications.
  • Approve NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy and assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of NDT experience as a Level 2, OR
  • Minimum 2 years of NDT experience as a Level 2 with a 2-year degree in Science or Engineering, OR
  • Minimum 1 year of NDT experience as a Level 2 with a 4-year degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Previous NAS 410 Level III certification in RT or PT is preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and maintain reliable attendance.
  • Capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
