SAP FICO COPA Lead / Senior Consultant

Role Summary
We are seeking a SAP COPA Lead for this role.

Strong knowledge in COPA module is a must.

Hands on design and configuration is a must.

Strong knowledge & hands on experience in profitability analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Translate finance and accounting requirements into SAP functional designs aligned with standard SAP best practices.
Partner closely with OTC, P2P, and other upstream/downstream teams to ensure accurate financial integration.
Support statutory, management, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Lead solution discussions, design reviews, and stakeholder workshops with Finance leadership.
Support production issues with strong accounting-based root-cause analysis.
Mentor junior consultants and support global onshore/offshore delivery models.

Required Experience & Skills

Financial master data related to vendor, customer, bank, cost center, general ledger.

Cost element / center accounting, Profit center accounting and Product costing.

Supporting and implementing solutions in COPA reporting module

Strong understanding of accounting principles; ability to lead T-accounting and financial discussions.
Working knowledge of integrated modules such as SD (OTC), MM (P2P), and CO.
Proven experience in lead or senior consultant roles with delivery ownership.
Strong communication skills with Finance and IT stakeholders.

Nice to Have
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or ECC to S/4HANA transitions.
Exposure to global finance operations (US, EU statutory requirements).
Experience supporting audits, controls, and compliance initiatives.

Work Arrangement
Onsite / Hybrid role with regular collaboration with Finance leadership.
Works closely with global delivery teams and business stakeholders.
