Job Description

This is a high-output creative executor who operates internal clipping and video editing tools to produce social-native video clips at scale. This role focuses on social-first content quality, speed, volume, and platform-native execution. The ideal candidate is fluent in social media, social content formats, comfortable with AI tools, and able to produce high-quality clips rapidly with minimal supervision after initial direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Clip Production:

- Operate clipping tool available internally using natural language prompts to identify clip-worthy moments from pre-release and library content

- Execute cuts, verticalizations, and localizations per brief specifications

- Produce clips in platform-specific formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9) with appropriate pacing and hooks, reviews and approves content following guidelines

- Version clips for multiple platforms and audiences from single source content

- Generates and approves post copies

- Edits AV to include overlays, design cards, editing multiple clips together

- Meet daily volume targets while maintaining quality standards

- Executes end to end operation for video assets

- Iterates on social assets based on manager and team feedback, typically within same-day turnaround

- Content scope: brand, audience, and title content across multiple social platforms

Social Best Practices Execution:

- Apply provided Editorial guidelines and platform-native best practices to every clip (eg, strategic hooks, optimal length per platform, trending formats, etc.)

- Format clips with appropriate text overlays, captions, and visual treatments

- Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, trending formats, and engagement drivers

- Flag high-performing content opportunities to the manager and team (eg, viral-potential moments, cultural relevance, etc.)

Iteration and Quality:

- Incorporate manager and team feedback on cuts quickly and accurately

- Self-QA clips before submission: audio sync, framing, pacing, platform specs

- Maintain consistency across clip batches for the same title/campaign/Editorial activation

- Contribute to team calibration on quality standards

Workflow and Operations:

- Manage personal clip queue and communicate status and blockers to the manager

- Follow SOPs for naming conventions, file delivery, and asset handoff

- Document tool issues, edge cases, and optimization opportunities

- Contribute to training materials to support future editor onboarding

Required Qualifications:

- 2+ years in social media content creation, video editing, or digital content production

- Hands-on experience creating video content for social platforms (TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.)

- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools or demonstrated ability to rapidly upskill

- Working knowledge of social platform best practices, engagement mechanics, and content formats

- Ability to sustain high volume and speed without sacrificing quality

- Strong video editing skills: cutting, pacing, text overlays, format adaptation, etc.

- Strong Proficiency in Premiere Pro

- Fluency in English and French
