Quick Overview
Job Description
At Complii, we're continuing to grow, and we're looking for a Configuration Analyst to join our Technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to play an important role in the configuration, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Simpro across the Group, helping our businesses get the most from our core systems while supporting consistent and effective ways of working.
We're looking for a Configuration Analyst who can translate approved business and functional requirements into effective system configuration, working closely with our Product Manager, business stakeholders, and super users. You'll support everything from day-to-day configuration and second-line support through to new business implementations, data migration, process improvement, and documentation, helping us continually improve how Simpro is used across Complii.
What you receive for joining us
We offer an excellent salary including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, an additional day off for your birthday, remote working with occasional UK travel, a collaborative and supportive working environment, and the opportunity to work closely with our Technology and operational teams while playing an important role in Complii's continued growth.
Here is a look at some of the things you will be doing
- Managing approved setup and configuration changes across Complii's Simpro environments, translating business and functional requirements into practical system configuration while ensuring business-specific requirements and approved exceptions are appropriately documented and aligned with the wider solution
- Supporting the implementation of Simpro into new businesses across the Group, assisting with configuration, data migration and imports, process changes, and implementation activities to help establish consistent and effective ways of working
- Providing second-line Simpro support, investigating and resolving configuration-related issues, working with super users and stakeholders to identify practical solutions, and escalating more complex or architectural decisions to the Product Manager where required
- Developing and sharing Simpro knowledge and best practice across the business, maintaining clear process, configuration, and support documentation while identifying opportunities to optimise system use, improve processes, and make greater use of Simpro s existing capabilities
Can you show experience in some of these areas
- Experience working with business systems in a configuration, application support, systems analyst, or similar role, with a strong understanding of system configuration, business processes, and operational workflows and the ability to translate requirements into practical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience investigating application or configuration issues, managing competing priorities, and maintaining excellent attention to detail within a changing and fast-growing business environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, super users, and technical teams and clearly document processes, configuration decisions, exceptions, and support guidance
- Previous experience with Simpro or a similar field service management platform would be advantageous, particularly alongside experience supporting system implementations, acquisitions, data migrations, standardised operating models, or continuous improvement initiatives
If you feel you have the skills and drive to make an impact, even if you don't meet every requirement above, we'd still love to hear from you.
Complii is a leading integrated provider of safety and regulatory compliance services across our water, air, fire, electrical, and lifts & escalator divisions, supporting organisations nationwide to operate safely, compliantly, and responsibly. This role offers the opportunity to play an important part in how our core business systems are configured, adopted, and continually improved, helping to create consistent and scalable ways of working across a growing national Group.
