TSPV/PA - Gateway Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer - ACT/SA - Onsite

TSPV/TSPA Cleared Gateway Engineer - Secure Network Infrastructure ACT/SA - Onsite Join a complex secure ICT environment supporting critical gateway infrastructure across enterprise networks. This role is suited to an experienced Gateway or Network Engineer with strong Cisco, Palo Alto, load balancing, proxy, VPN and cloud integration expertise who can maintain resilient services, investigate security incidents and provide specialist technical advice. This is an onsite role based in ACT or SA.

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options

Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV or TSPA clearance to perform this role.

Essential Tasks

• Maintain and support secure network gateway components using agreed architectures, standards and design patterns
• Translate logical designs into physical solutions that meet capacity, performance and operational requirements
• Support recovery, contingency and security incident activities while identifying and mitigating technical risks
• Provide specialist technical advice and contribute to network architecture, policy and change initiatives

Key Criteria

• Strong experience with Cisco ACI, routers, Nexus switches and routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
• Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions
• Experience with F5, Blue Coat, Citrix NetScaler or Broadcom SWG technologies across load balancing and proxy services
• Experience designing and integrating VPN, email, DNS and hybrid or public cloud services
