Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office

Salary: 55,000 - 65,000

We are recruiting for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing international software organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys troubleshooting technical challenges, improving cloud infrastructure and taking ownership of operational systems.

The Role

• Supporting and maintaining cloud-hosted production, development and test environments.
• Investigating and resolving infrastructure, application, database and networking issues.
• Managing and improving cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Monitoring platform performance, reliability and security.
• Identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities.
• Improving operational processes through automation and documentation.
• Supporting disaster recovery planning and testing.

Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting cloud-based production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure.
• Experience within a Windows environment.
• Good understanding of infrastructure, networking and cloud technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of cyber security, vulnerability management and infrastructure security.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
