Advanced Software Engineer

M9 Solutions is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer to work hybrid remote/on-site on a government contract for a client located in Scottsdale, AZ. An active Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications or related Science, Engineering or Mathematics fields, ensuring they meet user requirements and perform efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and troubleshoot issues.
• Design the next generation of cryptographic products as a member of a cross functional team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 3 years relevant experience.
• Ability to lead the software development process.
• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
• Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success.
• Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and others.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Experience in RUST and C/C++.
• Experience in developing software on embedded platforms.
• Experience working in an agile development environments.

• M9 Solutions' pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. $85,000 - $101,000 USD
