FX Options Pricing Developer (Junior / Associate) - Quanteam

Who We Are Looking For

Quanteam UK are seeking a junior to associate-level C# and C++ developer, with up to five years' relevant experience, to join a Front Office FX Options trading platform team in London. The role involves close collaboration with traders, sales and quantitative colleagues to help design, develop and maintain trading and pricing applications that support daily business activity across the global FX business. This is an opportunity for a candidate to develop their skills within a live trading environment, working alongside more senior developers on business-as-usual support and the delivery of functional and technical enhancements to the platform.

Key responsibilities:

1. Contributing to the delivery of high-quality code and system designs for the FX Options pricing platform, under the guidance of senior team members.
2. Supporting business-as-usual development and maintenance of the FX Options trading platform.
3. Assisting with the capture and elaboration of business requirements, working with stakeholders, team members and other domain experts across the platform.
4. Following up on production issues and contributing to their investigation and resolution.
5. Helping to ensure that systems are designed with performance and reliability in mind.
6. Providing regular and accurate updates on development progress to more senior members of the team.
7. Building knowledge of the wider FX Options business over time, to support increasingly independent delivery.

Technical Competence

1. Degree-level qualification, ideally in Computing, Mathematics or Engineering.
2. Programming experience in C# and C++.
3. Some exposure to, or a strong interest in, Front Office Options.
4. Familiarity with WinForms or WPF would be beneficial.
5. Exposure to working with a range of business and IT stakeholders.
6. Awareness of business-critical system development, testing and support practices.
7. Knowledge of React, TypeScript, .NET Core, ASP.NET or Kafka would be advantageous, though not essential.
