Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Edifecs EDI Integration Developer to design, develop, implement, and support Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integrations using Microsoft Azure services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with healthcare EDI transactions, EDI mapping and transformation, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Java, and Azure Integration Accounts.

The candidate should be comfortable configuring trading partner integrations, implementing secure file-transfer protocols, troubleshooting EDI workflows, and using AI-powered coding assistants to improve development productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support EDI integrations using Microsoft Azure services.

• Develop and maintain Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions to automate integration workflows.

• Implement custom integration logic using Java where required.

• Configure and manage Azure Integration Accounts and associated integration artifacts.

• Process and manage EDI transactions, including X12, HIPAA 837, 835, 270/271, and EDIFACT.

• Perform EDI mapping, data transformation, validation, and error handling.

• Configure and maintain Trading Partner Agreements and partner-specific integration requirements.

• Implement and support communication protocols, including AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTPS.

• Monitor EDI workflows, identify processing failures, troubleshoot integration issues, and optimize performance.

• Use AI coding assistants for code generation, debugging, documentation, and development support.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable integration delivery.

• Support testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of EDI solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Edifecs and EDI integration development.

• Strong understanding of EDI standards, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.

• Experience with healthcare HIPAA transactions, particularly 837, 835, and 270/271.

• Practical experience developing integrations with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.

• Experience with Azure Integration Accounts and integration artifacts.

• Java development experience for integration and data-processing requirements.

• Knowledge of EDI mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling.

• Experience configuring Trading Partner Agreements.

• Familiarity with AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTPS communication protocols.

• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production integration workflows.

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
