Part-Time Event Organizer
[Law Firm Name] is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented
Part-Time Event Organizer to help plan and execute events that strengthen our presence in the local community and enhance relationships with clients.

About the Role
Our firm operates across five offices, and this role will work closely with firm leadership to coordinate a variety of events, including:
Public seminars and educational events hosted by our attorneys
Client appreciation events
Community engagement and networking events

Key Responsibilities
Research and secure appropriate venues for seminars and events across our office locations
Analyze event and zip code data to inform venue selection and target marketing efforts to the right communities
Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships (catering, AV, printing, etc.)
Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, setup, invitations, and day-of coordination
Manage event budgets and track expenses
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to align events with firm goals and messaging
Assist with promotion of events (email invitations, social media, local partnerships)
Attend events to oversee execution and troubleshoot issues as needed
Qualifications
Prior experience in event planning or coordination (professional services experience a plus)
Comfort working with data (spreadsheets, basic analysis) to guide decision-making
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects at once
Familiarity with the local community and venue options a plus
Reliable transportation, as some travel between offices/venues will be required
Schedule
Part-time, flexible hours with some evening/occasional weekend availability required for event days
