About the role

You will be the client-facing solution lead for Oracle FCCS, ARCS and Narrative Reporting implementations. You will run discovery with CFOs, Controllers and financial reporting teams, own the solution design, and lead a blended onsite offshore team to go-live.

You will be the design authority on each engagement and a key contributor to pre-sales.

Key responsibilities

FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close)

  • Lead design of consolidation solutions: dimensions, entity and account hierarchies, and ownership structures.
  • Define approach for currency translation, intercompany eliminations, journals, equity pickup and minority interest.
  • Design close task manager schedules, approval workflows, security and reporting.
  • Define integration strategy from ERP sources (Oracle Fusion, EBS, SAP, others).

ARCS (Account Reconciliation)

  • Design Reconciliation Compliance: formats, profiles, frequencies, preparer/reviewer roles and auto-reconciliation.
  • Design Transaction Matching for high-volume accounts (bank, intercompany, AP/AR).
  • Align reconciliation controls with SOX and audit requirements.

Narrative Reporting (NR)

  • Design report packages for management, board and SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q, annual reports).
  • Define doclet structure, review and sign-off workflows, and data sources from FCCS/EPBCS.

Client leadership and delivery

  • Act as primary contact for CFO, Controller and Financial Reporting stakeholders.
  • Lead requirements workshops, fit-gap analysis and solution design documents.
  • Make design-authority decisions and present to steering committees.
  • Coordinate onsite offshore delivery, review offshore build and own overall quality.
  • Lead UAT, cutover, go-live, hypercare and end-user training.
  • Support pre-sales: solution demos, scoping, estimates and proposals.

Required skills and experience

  • 8 10 years in Oracle EPM / Hyperion, with at least 5 years on EPM Cloud.
  • At least 3 full-lifecycle FCCS implementations, including at least 1 as solution lead.
  • At least 2 full-lifecycle ARCS implementations covering Reconciliation Compliance and Transaction Matching.
  • Hands-on Narrative Reporting experience building report packages, doclets and approval workflows.
  • Strong grasp of financial close, consolidation accounting, intercompany, currency translation, US GAAP and SOX controls.
  • Working knowledge of Data Integration, EPM Integration Agent, EPM Automate, Groovy and Smart View.
  • Proven experience leading client workshops and presenting to senior finance leadership.

Preferred qualifications

  • Oracle certifications: FCCS Implementation Professional, ARCS Implementation Professional and/or Narrative Reporting.
  • CPA, CMA or MBA (Finance).
  • Exposure to EPBCS/Planning, Tax Reporting (TRCS), EDMCS/EDM or PCMCS.
  • HFM-to-FCCS or ARM-to-ARCS migration experience.
  • Big 4 or large Oracle partner consulting background.

Education, soft skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering or Computer Science.

Soft skills

  • Executive presence and clear communication with finance leaders.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation and expectation management.
  • Comfort leading distributed teams across time zones.
