Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Engineering Interns for our summer program to join our team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with the underground hydrocarbon storage in both reservoirs and caverns.
- Assist with technical expertise and guidance to Operations, Engineering, Commercial and Legal for the design,implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the Company's underground hydrocarbon storage assets.
- Assist with various regulatory filings as required
- Participate in new underground hydrocarbon storage facility design and commissioning
- Assist in the preparation of designs for facility modifications and incorporation of new equipment
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate in Petroleum Engineering or other engineering degree with adequate petroleum engineering experience.
- General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
- Above average GPA
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Must possess a strong willingness to learn
- Willing to travel
- Excellent attention to details.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
- Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
- Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
