Trade Finance AVP - Governance & Performance - Eton Clarke

Eton Clarke is collaborating with a well-established international bank that is growing its Trade Finance business in Europe. They are looking for an AVP to join their Paris team and help make sure the business is well-run, well-controlled and growing in the right direction.

In this role, you will:

1. Support the team’s governance and control work
2. Keep track of how the business is performing
3. Turn data into clear reports for management

You will work closely with Front Office, Risk, Compliance and Operations, as well as colleagues in London, Frankfurt and the bank’s head office. You will also get involved in transaction oversight, client onboarding, and projects to improve and automate the way things are done.

What we are looking for:

1. 3+ years in Trade Finance, with hands-on experience of LCs, guarantees, supply chain finance or receivables finance
2. Strong Excel skills (including Macros/VBA) and experience with Tableau
3. Experience producing reports, dashboards or MI
4. A good understanding of risk and controls
5. Fluent English (French is a plus)

Experience with operational risk, RCSA, audit or budgeting would also be helpful, but is not essential.
