The Role:

  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and enriching Science curriculum that caters to a range of learning styles and abilities, and prepares students for success in GCSE examinations.
  • Encourage students to develop their practical skills through hands-on experiments, investigations, and research projects.
  • Play an active role in the school's extracurricular programme, leading science clubs, organizing science fairs, and supporting students in their academic pursuits.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Science education.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of scientific concepts and principles across the secondary curriculum.
  • Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the school's ethos and values.
