Rates Trade Support AVP – Investment Bank - CassonX

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for one of the biggest names in Global Banking. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Middle Office function supporting Rates Derivatives trading activity, working directly from the trading floor and providing day-to-day support to the Front Office.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with experience of working in an OTC Derivatives Middle Office / Trade Support function. You must have exposure to Rates, with wider knowledge of other Fixed Income and FX Derivatives being advantageous, and your experience ideally gained (but not limited to) in an Investment Bank or Capital Markets firm. Exposure to industry systems is key, with preference to the likes of Bloomberg and Murex as example, and direct experience of working with the Front Office will make you a standout candidate.

This varied role will see you cover all aspects of BAU / Life Cycle events for OTC Derivatives and in particular Rates. You role will be very broad, sitting directly with the Traders performing wide reaching Middle Office / Trade Support tasks; assisting with trade booking, validation, confirmation, compressions, recaps, non-electric trade updates, transaction reporting and controls. They need someone who technically understand how this all works (i.e. not just a button pusher) and especially whilst they work on bringing in new technologies and automations for this small team.
