StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a multi-billion-dollar global manufacturing leader in their search for a Corporate Director of Engineering - Sensors. This hybrid leadership role offers the chance to spearhead the evolution of cutting-edge sensing technology for domestic and international markets, backed by a premier industry giant. Based out of the Chicago area, the incoming executive will direct cross-functional technical teams, shape strategic market growth, and enjoy outstanding career advancement.

What You'll Do

• Direct the creation and commercialization of next-generation sensing hardware for worldwide industries.

• Oversee advanced electronic systems integration, featuring embedded microcontrollers, precision sensors, and custom firmware architecture.

• Guide multifaceted engineering divisions spanning electrical, firmware, mechanical, and systems domains.

• Foster direct customer relationships and spearhead commercial development initiatives to expand market reach.

• Coordinate hybrid operational schedules requiring presence on-site three days weekly for professionals residing within a hundred miles of Chicago or Milwaukee.

What You Bring

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering

• Minimum of 10 to 35 years of professional work experience

• Demonstrated background leading engineering groups across domestic and international landscapes

• Extensive background in Automotive Sensors, commercial vehicles, off-road equipment, industrial sectors, or related markets

• Proven expertise in Management of multidisciplinary technical teams and fostering client relationships

Compensation & Total Rewards

• Annual Salary: $200,000 - $250,000

• 30% Bonus

• Relocation costs provided
