Job Description

This position focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with neurological disorders in an ambulatory setting. The role offers a predictable schedule with no inpatient responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including but not limited to headaches, epilepsy, stroke follow-up, movement disorders, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, and cognitive disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans (as applicable)
  • Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record
  • Provide patient education and counseling regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management
  • Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Neurology residency program
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
  • Active or eligible state medical license
  • DEA registration (or eligibility)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
