Cloud Support Engineer Nights | Tysons, VA, United States | Hybrid This employer is seeking a mission-focused Cloud Support Engineer to join their team. The role involves providing critical, 24x7 incident response and customer service to support hybrid cloud infrastructure operations, ensuring seamless cloud integration and support for enterprise and government clients. The Role • Provide 24x7 incident response and customer service for hybrid cloud infrastructure. • Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux and Kubernetes environments. • Diagnose, resolve, and track support cases through ServiceNow, phone, and email, adhering to SLAs. • Monitor and triage incidents from automated alerting systems, following SOPs and runbooks. • Resolve technical issues with Linux and Kubernetes infrastructure, escalating when necessary. • Deliver high-touch support to government and enterprise customers, ensuring clear communication. • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and response procedures. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. • Experience in Linux system administration (command-line management, networking, service operations). • Experience working in Kubernetes environments, including container management and cluster troubleshooting. • Experience with ticketing, alerting, and incident response tools. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate technical issues clearly. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage, and resolve multiple incidents under pressure.
