Enterprise Solutions Architect

Avanos Medical seeks an Enterprise Solutions Architect to design and lead scalable, secure healthcare technology solutions that advance our mission to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. In this role, you will define enterprise architectures, integration patterns, and roadmaps for medical device, data, and clinical platforms across cloud and on premise environments. Partnering closely with clinical, regulatory, product, and IT teams, you'll translate complex requirements into compliant, interoperable solutions that support pain, digestive, respiratory, and infection prevention portfolios. You'll guide engineering teams, champion best practices, and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation, quality, and global clinical impact in a collaborative, patient first culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise architectures that support Avanos Medical's clinical, regulatory, and business strategies.
• Lead end-to-end solution design for healthcare and medical device platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product, clinical, regulatory, and IT teams to translate requirements into integrated technical solutions.
• Define integration patterns and data flows across cloud, on-premise, and partner systems using industry standards.
• Ensure solutions meet healthcare compliance, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA guidance).
• Create architecture roadmaps, reference models, and technical documentation for stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams during implementation and rollout.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and patterns to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
