Sr Engineering Manager

A hands-on Senior Engineering Manager running two teams at once, each blending full-time and contract engineers.

Strong vendor/contractor management — SOWs, staffing, change orders, performance, knowledge transfer — and a track of bringing capability in-house over time.

Experience with third-party API integrations (carrier, enrollment, HRIS/payroll) where data correctness matters.

Regulated-environment experience — PHI/PII, HIPAA or similar.

A proven driver of agentic AI adoption — tooling, practices, and measuring outcomes, not just familiarity.

Technical depth without daily coding: reviews MRs, debugs production, critiques architecture, spots test-suite gaps.

Ownership of delivery health (Jira, sprints, RAID logs, named owners/due dates) and on-call/incident leadership.

Strong cross-functional communication with senior stakeholders and good judgment on when to dig in vs. escalate.
