Newstaff Employment Services is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative at our facility in Stevenage. As a crucial member of our production team, you will play a significant role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient output of high-quality products.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling components, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate various production machinery and equipment according to operational guidelines.
- Assemble products and components with precision and care.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve processes.
- Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
- Assist in training new employees and support team initiatives as required.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to different production needs.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute positively to the team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices in manufacturing environments.
- Temp-to-perm opportunity with a pay increase after 3 months
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
