This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role within a lean, entrepreneurial organization, gaining significant exposure to senior decision-makers while taking ownership of transactions across the investment lifecycle.

The firm provides flexible capital solutions to lower middle market businesses throughout the U.S., investing through a range of structures including unitranche, second lien, mezzanine, preferred equity, and equity co-investments. Investments include sponsored, independent sponsor-backed, and non-sponsored transactions across diverse industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the evaluation, underwriting, and execution of new investment opportunities from initial screening through closing
  • Build detailed financial models and conduct comprehensive due diligence
  • Structure and negotiate debt and equity investments
  • Present investment recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees
  • Monitor portfolio company performance, financial results, and covenant compliance
  • Lead portfolio transactions including amendments, waivers, refinancings, add-on financings, and recapitalizations
  • Work directly with management teams, sponsors, advisors, and financing partners

Qualifications:
    • Senior Associate: 3-6+ years of experience in private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, investment banking, or a related investment role
    • Vice President: 5-8+ years of private credit or direct lending experience with a demonstrated track record of underwriting and executing debt investments
    • Strong financial modeling, credit underwriting, due diligence, and investment writing skills
    • Experience evaluating lower middle market companies, ideally within the $3MM-$15MM EBITDA range
    • Ability to independently manage workstreams and drive transaction execution
    • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to operate in a lean, highly collaborative environment
