Private Cellular / DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Solution Architect - Remote role

• Candidate must manage time well enough to handle multiple projects, deadlines and priorities simultaneously while delivering high quality work and have the willingness to learn and improve their skills, knowledge and the quality of their work.

• Candidate must have very good technical/non-technical communication and presentation skills to present and drive consensus among technical and non-technical audiences at the right level of detail.

• Candidate should be able to understand the functional / business point of view with different levels of abstraction and synthesize that information into the technical requirements and be able to communicate the possibilities of what can be done with technology to address business pain points.

• Candidate must be able to prepare/present architecture design for all layers of architecture and be able to defend/explain the architecture from different points of view such as Security, Data & Infrastructure.

• Candidate should be able to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership to help mitigate risks/issues, lead risk mitigation efforts – not as a project manager but from the technical point of view.

• Candidate must have significant experience in Architecting and Designing solutions using different set of tech stack(s) such as Java, NodeJS, Angular, React, Relational DB, NoSQL DB, deployed on AWS platform or deployed in a hybrid architecture across public cloud and on-prem.

• Candidate must have knowledge of different technologies/patterns and have experience designing solutions with APIs, MOMs, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, SAML, oAuth, etc.

• Candidate must be experienced enough to be willing and able to learn new technologies such as AI tech stacks, IOT tech stacks, different vendor specific platforms such as SAP, Adobe, Salesforce, etc. and learn more advanced architecture patterns, design patterns, etc.

• Candidate must be experienced enough to work in different types of architecture such as a 3-tiered web app, mobile app, event drive architecture, and so on using different levels of simple to complex functional and non-functional requirements.

• Candidate must be experienced enough to be able to perform technical design of application components, AWS cloud infrastructure, integration architecture, CI/CD design, monitoring design, etc.

• Candidate must have had recent hands-on role with the full SDLC in past 3 years of career history.

• Candidate must have enough current experience with hands-on development to be able to effectively perform design reviews and code reviews with different technologies and programming languages.

• Candidate should be able to design and develop common frameworks, libraries, and reusable components that are meant to be re-used across applications and portfolios.

• Candidate must be experienced in driving business and technical conversations around NFRs related to all layers of architecture and should be able to defend/explain the architecture to other architects and gain consensus for larger, more complex or technically more challenging situations where the architectural trade-offs are not agreed to by multiple parties.

• Candidate should be able to explain Architecture Review Board exception requests & propose remediation plans as needed.

• Candidate should be able to contribute to authoring of Roadmap & Portfolio Landscape documents.

• Candidate must be able to mitigate project and technical risks/issues by identifying and leading risk mitigation efforts to resolution – not as a project manager but from a technical perspective.

• Candidate must be able to coach and mentor application team developers on software development best practices across the full SDLC roles and responsibilities.
