Senior QA Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Irving, TX.

Duties Include:
* Own quality assurance activities across digital platforms and applications, including test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation
* Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
* Validate system functionality, workflows, data processing, and user experiences across multiple channels and platforms
* Verify data accuracy, business rules, configurations, and integrations to ensure reliable system performance
* Support testing of new features, enhancements, and system updates while identifying and documenting defects and risks
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
* Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support activities as needed
* Maintain testing documentation, test coverage artifacts, and quality metrics

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field
* Experience supporting testing efforts across complex applications, systems, and integrations
* Experience testing web applications, APIs, system integrations, and data-driven solutions
* Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks
* Strong SQL and data validation skills
* Experience with regression, functional, integration, and performance testing methodologies
* Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory considerations within software development environments
* Familiarity with Agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycles
* Understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality assurance best practices
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and defect management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
