AI Test Automation Engineer (Telecom OSS)

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced AI Test Automation Engineers with strong Telecom OSS domain expertise to support a large-scale testing and automation initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python, Playwright, Robot Framework, Automation Frameworks, and Generative AI, with the ability to demonstrate how AI can be leveraged to automate test cases and test scripts.

Candidates should possess strong automation skills, an automation-first mindset, and experience collaborating with development teams in Agile environments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
• Strong Telecom Domain knowledge with hands-on OSS (Operations Support Systems) experience.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Python
• Playwright
• Robot Framework
• Experience designing and maintaining Automation Frameworks.
• Hands-on experience using Generative AI for test automation (not just exposure).
• Ability to demonstrate AI-driven automation of:
• Test Case Generation
• Test Script Creation
• QA Process Automation
• Experience in requirement analysis and test planning.
• Strong collaboration with Development teams to ensure quality delivery.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong proficiency with JIRA.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership and deliver measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agentic AI solutions or related AI automation technologies.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing frameworks and automation strategies.
• Experience improving QA processes through AI-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python, Playwright, and Robot Framework.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for Telecom OSS applications.
• Utilize Generative AI to automate test case creation, script generation, and QA workflows.
• Participate in AI capability demonstrations during the technical evaluation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and validate functionality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Drive automation initiatives and improve testing efficiency through AI-enabled solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
