Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Java, AWS & Microsoft Azure
Location: Wilmington, DE (Open to relocation candidates)
Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, cloud architecture across AWS and Azure, and event streaming using Apache Kafka.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, Agile delivery, and DevOps, with the ability to build and support high-performance enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS and Microsoft Azure.

• Develop event-driven applications and streaming integrations using Apache Kafka.

• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

• Apply CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.

• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure application reliability.

• Follow cloud security, coding standards, and software engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Practical experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Experience developing microservices and REST APIs.

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
