Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Professional Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing complex programs and projects across the full project lifecycle and a proven ability to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget while guiding teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead one or more medium-sized project teams within a larger technology program.
- Direct project work, oversee assigned staff, set priorities and deadlines, and ensure timely, quality delivery.
- Interface with clients, company leadership, and project leadership to communicate metrics and recommend program changes.
- Define objectives, schedules, scope, and budgets to drive quality deliverables across all phases.
- Identify and mitigate risks through status reporting, issue tracking, and project updates.
- Prepare detailed statements of work and secure stakeholder agreement and approvals.
- Travel as needed, up to 10%.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6+ years managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through the full lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies. PMP certification or equivalent practice preferred.
- Proficiency with project planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting tools.
- Budget development, control, and assurance experience with modern project management software.
- Ability to translate program objectives into clear, achievable project milestones.
- Leadership to train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues.
- Executive-level presentation and clear communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- 3+ years supporting Medicaid and/or Medicare programs.
- Experience in large technology programs and cross-functional delivery environments.
