PLASTERER
ROLE: Plasterer
PAY RATE: Open for discussion

THE ROLE:
The Plasterer will support the delivery of plastering and skimming works, including the application of plasterboard, render, and similar materials to walls, ceilings, and building exteriors across residential and commercial properties managed by the client. The role is responsible for ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared, finished, and maintained to a high standard, contributing to the overall appearance, durability, and structural integrity of the properties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and clean surfaces before applying plaster, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and grease.
- Apply plaster coats to walls, ceilings, and building exteriors, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Perform decorative plastering tasks, including mouldings, cornices, and ornamental designs.
- Repair and patch damaged plasterwork, ensuring seamless integration with existing surfaces.
- Mix plaster to desired consistency and ensure it meets job specifications.
- Use various tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including trowels, floats, and mixers.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Any other reasonable management request.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering or equivalent.
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in Construction
- Proven experience in plastering, including surface preparation, application, and finishing.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to plastering work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Full UK/NI valid driving licence
