Job Description

Computer Network Architect | Orlando, FL, United States | On-site

We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology company that provides innovative solutions to government and commercial clients, renowned for its expertise in digital and mission-critical endeavors. This organization is at the forefront of technological advancement, constantly pushing boundaries to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

The Role

  • Provide Network Engineering support for the design, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and operation of an evolving network architecture.
  • Manage network architecture, including operational and security-related updates and changes.
  • Lead the deployment planning and coordination of network system upgrades at various field sites, both CONUS and OCONUS as required.
  • Interface with Tier 2 support to assist with coordination and issue escalation.
  • Provide briefings and regular status updates to Program leadership on network-related issues.
  • Drive improvements by providing valuable requirements for network enhancements.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field with 8-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Active and current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in network infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with Juniper SSR architecture and configuration.
  • Expertise in SD-WAN technologies and implementation.
  • Proficiency in Cisco IOS/IOS-XE operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
  • Experience with network virtualization and software-defined networking.
