The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and safety.
• Position and relocate containers within the intermodal yard, ensuring efficient flow of goods.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily logistics tasks.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with established protocols.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Open availability, including willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety procedures.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
