Enterprise Data / Azure Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to help define data strategy, target-state architecture, and modernization initiatives across an environment spanning on-prem SQL Server and modern cloud data platforms.

The ideal candidate combines enterprise data strategy and architecture with strong technical depth, and can translate business requirements into scalable, implementable data solutions.

Key Requirements

• Strong Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Strategy experience
• Experience defining current-state, target-state architecture, and modernization roadmaps
• Strong experience with Azure data platforms and hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
• Microsoft Fabric preferred; Azure Databricks/Synapse or similar modern data platforms considered
• Experience with Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Strong conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional data modeling
• Strong SQL Server/SQL experience, including performance and optimization
• Working knowledge of Python and modern data engineering patterns
• Enterprise data and application integration experience
• Experience with Data Governance, MDM, metadata, lineage, and data quality
• Experience creating HLDs/LLDs, data models, data-flow diagrams, and reference architectures
• Experience working with architecture review, security, risk, and governance teams

This is not a governance-only architecture role or a pure Data Engineering position. We need someone who can operate at the strategy and architecture level while going deep enough technically to guide implementation.
