Chief Engineer, Class A Office Portfolio

Location: Waltham, MA Salary: $125,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD Annually Description: Chief Engineer, Class A Office Portfolio

Full-Time, Direct Hire
Onsite in Waltham, MA

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering and facilities operations across a Class A office portfolio
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems
• Manage preventive maintenance programs, vendors, contractors, and capital projects
• Develop and mentor engineering staff while driving operational excellence and tenant satisfaction
• Support budgeting, regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives, and emergency preparedness

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial building operations, facilities, or engineering experience
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing engineering or maintenance teams
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, BAS/BMS platforms, and preventive maintenance programs
• Experience with vendor management, capital projects, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
• EPA Universal/CFC certification and Class A office or life science facility experience are highly preferred
