The Role

Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
Develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and subject matter experts, to gather technical information.
Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain records of revisions and manage documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (experience may substitute for education).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear documentation.
Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying documentation gaps.
